Back to School

so I finished my first day of school and it frickin' ROCKED!!!

my first class didn't start until 3pm and it ended at 5:30pm. then I had a lab for the same class and that ran from about 6pm to 8pm. now they only call it a "lab" because it's the hands on portion of what we're learning. it has nothing to do w/ actually being in a lab or a lab type environment.

so what we learned about today was video cameras and some of their characteristics/properties. for example, I learned what it means to "white balance" a camera. I learned what  a "time code" is. and I found out that in 2 weeks I'll get to start shooting footage for a short film. now, it won't be me by myself. I was assigned to a group and right now there are only 3 of us. but they said that we'll prolly get more people to help us out. oh, when we're done with the movie they'll give us a DVD of it. so I'll prolly post (or upload) it up to the site for you all to view.

tomorrow I have my first day of English Comp which shouldn't be so bad but we'll see.
