I guess Ill enter a bloggy to keep up with all you cool kids. ;-)
However, the only thing that comes to mind right now is a mundane little fact that I learned today.
See, every morning (or just about) I go to a gas station down the street from my work and I buy some sort of "breakfast". Usually, its something like a bottle of Powerade, a Clif Bar and maybe a Red Bull (or some other energy drink).
I know, I know, its not the healthiest breakfast but, seeing as how Im usually late to work, its the quickest. Well the quickest without it being fast food breakfast. *blech*
Anyways, back to the point, I was at said gas station this morning and I was buying two bottles of Powerade (they had a deal - 2 for $2), a bottle of Red Bull and a Clif Bar. Well somebody inside mentions that the Red Bull costs more than the two Powerades (and its considerably smaller in volume as well). The lady at the register mentions that the Red Bull costs more because they can tax it whereas the Powerades cant be taxed.
Apparently, Red Bulls can be taxed because they have carbonation!!!
Dub-you Tee Eff mayne!!!
That makes no fricken sense to me. O_o Im curious to know, who came up with that little tidbit of "logical" thinking?!?!?!
Hey, I know, theres a bunch of tiny little air-bubbles in this little aluminum can, lets charge more for it!!! EUREKA!!!
Seriously now, thats one of those moments in time where I want to be a fly on the wall just to hear the conversation.
So yea, thats my mundane little fact of the day. :-)
