so in my last blog, I pointed out that I need glasses. well I've had a pair of glasses since I was 15; I just never wore them. I thought I looked too stupid wearing them. and seeing as how I got made fun of enough without them, I didn't wanna give "them" any more reasons to make jokes.

so yea, I decided to give them another try and it's amazing how much of a difference they make. colors are brighter & sharper and, of course, everything looks bigger. I can actually see the pores in my skin; which, on second thought, prolly isn't a good thing.

the only negative side effect that I'm experiencing right now is that I start to get a headache after wearing them for about 20 minutes. that's the reason why I'm not wearing them at all times right now. I only use them for when I'm on the comp at home. not to mention, the frame is prolly too small for me now. I should prolly go get a newer pair. but with no eye insurance and no "need" for me to spend the money, I'll just have to go with what I've got.

so yea, glasses suck!!!

I feel ya freak, if they are giving you a headache and you just said they are too small, it is possible you have the same problem I do, if my hair gets too long by my ears where the glasses sit I get migrain headaches. I asked my doc about it and he said there is a nerve right above your ear and for some its more sensitive and the glasses are applying just enough pressure to cause the headache. Hope that helps and yeah new ones, I get about every 4years $33-$400 OUCH. Catch ya later

well if you have some disposable cash and are able to wear contacts, they are about $27.00 (soft lenses) for three months worth. So it is just a matter of getting some cash for an eye exam.
