This could be because mediocrity is my new religion. I don’t have the time or care to strive for perfection anymore. I would say the desire to be perfect is a masochistic tendency. Why do we want to attain perfection anyways? Seems like quite a work load. I’m thinking though that perfection may not be the concept exactly, it could be more perfect than anyone else. This is an endless competition (NERD ALERT), it’s not like we are Klingon’s looking for the endless fight or that stupid Robot kid in AI looking for his Pinocchio dream. And then those damn skinny gray aliens show up with all the answers, I would’ve preferred them delivering a pizza. These are the end of a million years of robot evolution and all they can do is deliver pizza. No one can eat it, but that’s all they got stuck doing in some endless loop that plagued the robot scientists. There was no cure, no way to get out of this degenerative activity, they just accepted it. Sure they conquered the Universe, but never could they cure the incessant need to deliver pizzas.
Anyways, I am feeling this general sense that our society is suffering from extreme individualism. This sense of individualism breeds competitiveness and breaking out from the pack mentality. If you have lived and worked in the pack all your life, it is a great place to be instead of right on top of the mountain where all sorts of things can get you such as a giant space flying squid named Peggy the giant space flying squid; she is even wearing a trademarked t-shirt to prove it. I so want prove to be spelled with two O’s. I have decided to fully embrace the 40 hour work week and love it for all it’s worth. It’s who I am for the love of God, the love of God yes, God wants us to work 40 hours a week and drink cheap beer. What was so bad about 1984 anyways? Work, drink, reproduce, shampoo, rinse, repeat!
Two Men and a Truck is a moving service, their website is www.twomen.com, kind of sounds like a naughty adult kind of website. Who is ready for Two Men, A Truck and some real moving action? I know I am.
