The complex interplay of lemon and vodka is often too complicated for the populace at whole to understand.  The multiple effects of temperature of the vodka, the amount of ice, soda or no soda, tonic or no tonic and the exact placement of the twist is crucial to understanding the reaction of the person who eventually drinks said cocktail. Ideally in a controlled environment free from other factors such as wind, sex of the server, air pressure and current percentage of capacity of the establishment at which the drink is offered, each extra unit of perfectly prepared and timed vodka with a lemon twist would have a positive effect on the overall liquidity of the market and promote positive economic growth in said region. In the real world, free of models and nearly infinite amounts of information and effects it is impossible to predict the effect of the lemon twist on vodka consumption.  It is noted that Thursday nights special, Vodka Tonics with a Lemon twist for $2.99, has improved overall consumption and liquidity proven solely by the number of successful attempts at foreign phone number retrieval. In conclusion, it will not be known for several months of the effect of this Operation Twist.  Monitoring of the situation will continue with certain statistical indicators such as ratio of male vs. female patrons, turnover of clean glasses, rate of vomiting in the alley out back and the annual increase of population in the region.  The operation will be review on a quarterly basis with changes to nightly specials if needed.
