In other events.....
Work sucked immensely today....I wont get into details because I wanna leave work at work....but I'll just say believe me when I say it sucked....
Some good news...Julia got her first Social Security check. It was around $600 or so...so shes happy. Although her first supplementary back pay check came in as well...$14,000. Yep. $14,000 sitting in her bank account. She officially makes more money than me and she doesnt work. How fucked up is that?
Im not mad at her or anything. Im happy she finally can get her medicine and all that without worry. But Im looking at it like...I spent money and worked hard to get into college...went for 4 years and got my degree and certificates...and Im getting a measley $8.50 an hour for a job I should be making at least $25 an hour at least. Sure $8.50 is better than $4.50 at Burger King or retail...but you still can't live off of it...at least not in my area.
So Im seriously looking into other avenues of employment around my area. I won't get anywhere stuck at this job. And I have to get out of Aiken this year. I would prefer to go a little farther north..somewhere colder and has more jobs around my career field.
Thats it for now...not much else going on at the moment. I'm seriously thinking about starting up a new clan on the site though....talking to another member on the site about it...we'll see what happens with that.
