Back to the Salt Mines....

Well...its Monday. The day I dread every week. Because at a print shop, Mondays are especially busy because all of the assholes that didn't bring their stuff in on Friday feel the need to dump it all in on Monday...and then expect their stuff to be done by Wednesday. I don't remember "miracle workers" being on the sign anywhere.

Had some woman start bitching me out over the phone because I didn't know what project she was having done with us. There are 3 typesetters here...and we don't keep up with what the others are working on. We have enough stuff of our own to deal with without keeping up with 2 other peoples projects. But anyway..back to the bitch. She started raising the tone in her voice to a somewhat unpleasant level. And I asked her to please lower her voice or I will hang up the phone. Keep in mind I told my bosses I would do this if I ever got an irate customer. I dont deal with assholes well...so its better if I hang up on them then cuss them out.

Her voice gets louder...I hang up. She calls back screaming even louder, so I put her on hold and tell everyone to leave her there because shes being a grade A bitch.

She actually stays on hold for a few minutes. I pick back up and say "Ok now mam, if you've calmed down we can continue the conversation, otherwise I'm going to have to ask you to come in and speak with the owner of the shop yourself. I dont care for being yelled at when I have nothing to do with your situation."

I could tell she was still irate, but the yelling stopped. So we got the situation taken care of.

I fuckin hate people. If it were my shop, I'd a told the bitch to choke on a fat one, that if she calls me again there will be consequences. But thats just me. :)

Anyway...thats the day so far.

The weekend was actually a good one. Not amazing...but a helluva lot better than the past few weekends. By a longshot.
Started working on the guns friday night, got them  mostly primed, they look damn good. I'll post pictures tomorrow of them. Got to spend all of Saturday with Julia. We picked up some movies and just chilled in my room, relaxing and watching movies all day. It was fun to just kick back and not worry about anything.
Sunday was allright. Hung out with my sister and her boyfriend, watched some flicks then played some Crackdown co-op with NuttyKev. That was fun as hell. Hope to do it again soon.

This week I'll be staying at Julia's house with her because her mom, sister and grandmother are going out of town for the full week. So I will be with her all week. Well at least when I get out of work.

This week is Masters Week...so I'll be staying away from Augusta if I can help it.
