Shared on Tue, 01/23/2007 - 11:29Been sick all this past weekend. The cough I developed earlier in the week decided to evolve into a much nastier beast this past friday. I guessed it smelled my intent on having fun and decided to destroy that thought thoroughly.
After a full weekend of sleepless nights, coughing so much I've almost puked, weakness, achey muscles and dizziness....I went to the doctor yesterday. Keep in mind I have no health insurance because I cant afford it. So the bill ended up being around $180 for the office visit....ouch. Missed work ontop of it.
Luckily the doctor actually seemed to take some pitty on me and gave me free vouchers for all the medication I needed so I didnt have to pay shit for the medicine. The medicine would have been another $185 for 10 frickin pills.
The diagnosis was Bronchitis. Wooooo. Something I've never had before...at least not this bad. And I pray to God that I never have it again. But as soon as I get better, my boss and I are gonna have a chat. Either I gotta get insurance through my job, he has to put me back on fulltime so I can afford my own away from the job....or I find something else that pays more and needs fulltime (and preferably stays around my current paystub).
We'll see though.
Thats about it for now. I'm going to go lay back down. I feel like hammered shit.
