Dethklok - the greatest metal band...

That doesn't really exist.

There's an animated show on Cartoon Network's late night Adult Swim block called Metalocalypse. As you would probably think...its kinda retarded. But thats what makes it soooo great. Its actual metal artists doing the voices and music work for the show as well.

Basically the show follows the band Dethklok, who is the greatest metal band in the world. So they are all insanely rich and live in this huge gothic castle. And they are all dumb as a bag of wet hammers. Every one of them.

Its a great show, really funny and if you're a metal fan actually has some good music.

Which brings me to Dethklok album. There is an actual CD you can go by for Dethklok. Its all the music from the show, and some of the stuff they were writing and working on during the show. And if you don't take it seriously, its actually a pretty good album.

I mean come on....theres a song called Hatred Copter...and Bloodrocuted. You just can't beat that.

The album also has a bonus disc that has I think 5 or so "unreleased" tracks and a few audio tidbits from the show. Great stuff. I'd say if you want a good laugh or you're a metal head...go pick it up.
