Its tiny, but it works amazingly well....and easily.
My first capture device was the Dazzle DVD Recorder..which was garbage. I could never get it to capture video properly, it put scramble lines over everything, never synced with the audio...and I could never get the Pinnacle editing software to work.
So I searched for an affordable alternative. A buddy of mine in my clan told me about the Hava WiFi capture device that he picked up. Let him hook up an external hard drive to it and a few other cool features. I thought sure. Why not. It was $150.00 though on most sites. So I went a step down and got the Platinum HD. It works as a passthrough for your xbox to your tv (which remains HD if you use the component cables), and connects to your PC through your home network. Video is captured via the Hava Player on your PC.
Its fast and its easy. After I hooked it up, it took maybe 5 minutes to install and get working. Then I was capturing gears 2 footage. With literally the click of a button I can capture anything my 360 is displaying on my television. Yes...Netflix streaming stuff as well. MUWAHAHAHAHA.
Anyway. The only downside is that the output isn't true HD. So I'm a little dissapointed about that. But the quality is still much much better than RCA or S-video. So I'll live with it for now. Until I can afford a true HD capture card. But that won't be for a year or so.
Here's a test video I uploaded to youtube.

Be sure to watch the HD version....the audio and picture are much better.
