It ate the babies!!!

Well its all finally over. X-mas. A good day for some....to others its bullshit over-commercialism. In either case....for most at least it means time with family & friends. This was my case.
Had my aunt and her friend come down from Colorado to visit. They're still staying with my grandparents and will be here till Sunday I think. So gonna try to spend as much time as possible with them.

My Uncle Tom (the doucher) and his family couldn't make it because their youngest got really sick. Even though I can't say we've reconciled, I do think he was genuinely sorry he couldn't be there with us.

His son got a 360 & camera, so I had to go set mine up as well. And we video conferenced a toast to the whole family from my grandparents living room. Lots of tears....lots of "I'm sorry". Was cool that even though he couldn't make it, technology still brought us together in a sense.

But now all that is over and its back to reality and the old grindstone. Next is New Years.......a night of wishes, dreams, promises & goals. The beginning of a New Year.....a new chance to truly move forward and accomplish what we couldn't in the previous year.

Through all of the hardships & problems.......good times and bad times........we've made it to another year. And thats something to be thankful for at least.

So to all my friends and family here on 2old2play, I wish you all much success in your goals and dreams for this New Year.
