It's been a while.

It's been a while since my last blog. Can't really say alot has gone on since then....because not alot has. At least not alot thats interesting or different.
Trying to do some gaming...have only been partially successful. Mostly MP stuff....which I've got about 4 or 5 SP games I could be playing as well....but I don't. Dunno why.

Been kinda up and down emotionally the past few weeks. Some good days, some not so good. Mostly depression more than anything else. Those days where its really hard to get out of bed and face the world. Or when I get home around 6 I just crash on the bed and sleep for a couple of hours....wake up around 8:30 or so...jump online for a few minutes, grab some chow...watch a little tv.....then back in bed. Nothing serious...just those blue days.

Past couple of weeks has been rough though sleep-wise. Some nights are really good..I get really rested. But the majority of nights are really bad...get some nightmares that shock me awake and keep me up for a while. Or I just get really restless and can't turn off. Just depends.

But overall I've been doing pretty well.

The new clan has gotten a few new members which is good. I think we're up to about 16 I think. Alot better than I was expecting. A few times I didn't think we'd still have a forum. lol. But its all working out, slowly but surely.

Tried the COD4 multiplayer this weekend. Definitely not for me. I prefer more balanced and equal style gameplay. COD4 is way too unbalanced. Just playing against some friends wasn't that fun at all. After playing a 10 minute match and only getting 2 kills.....somethings not quite right there. Sure yeah it was my first match. But you know what? I got 15 more kills in my very first Halo match way back when. And that was playing against people who'd had it a full year before I even touched an xbox controller. But heres a breakdown of how the match went. Spawn...run around for 2 minutes.....shot in the back......spawn.....shot in the back.....spawn.....run around for 2 minutes....get 1 kill....shot in the bback......spawn......shot in the back......spawn.......run around for 2 minutes.........get 2nd kill......immediately shot in the back.......spawn........lather, rinse, repeat for a 10 minute time-span. Now lemme ask you...how the hell is that fun? It ain't. As someone totally new and trying to get into the game....its not fun.

I can see the game being fun if they dropped the leveling thing and just have a preset list of perks that everyone can pick from at any time. And not letting you customize your own character until you hit a level 4 is just brain-dead retarded. "Hey guy....thanks for droppin that $60 on our game........but you can't do any fun shit with it until you rank up a bit.  SUCKER!"

Sorry....thanks but no thanks. So if anyones looking for another copy of COD4...mine's for sale. That money will go towards my copy of Rainbow Six Vegas 2.
