For how long I don't know. I have yet to order the parts I need....and I can't afford them at the moment. So I'm gonna have to wait till I get paid this thursday...

I went ahead and printed out the 4 overlays I had worked on and they look fantastic. Can't wait to get the joysticks built now. Looks alot better than alot of the stuff I've seen people sell online.

So if bad goes to worse I can always sell them for a few extra bucks.

But anyway...

I'm thinking about going with Linux on my console instead of Windows. Why?
1.) Customizable - Linux is well known for its customization.
2.) Ease of Use - From what I've heard its easy to get all the basic emulation stuff working in Linux.
3.) No need to hide the OS. I would have to jump through hoops to make Windows "dissapear". That linux  customization again.

We'll see though. I will need to consult some Linux gurus on the site just to see how easy it is and how it will work with some of the adapters I will need to get for the controllers.

thats all for now.

Gatsu OUT!

Im not making games...its software thats allready available that I'm putting into my own console for my own personal use. I have no plans on creating an actual console for the gaming market. This is just a personal project for myself. I'm using arcade emulation software that will run the games I want in the console.

Forgive my ignorance, but if most computers are running Windows as an OS, why develop your games with Linux? I understand your reasonings, but how marketable will this be?
