Today's the big day....

And it got alot more interesting over the last day or so.

Right after I wrote my last blog....I was given word by one of the other designers where I work....that all of our hours were getting cut. I'm like...ok...a couple of hours won't hurt. I can live without going in on Fridays. But oh no its better. I only get 20 hours a week now. Monday - Thursday: 12:30pm - 5:30pm. And occasionally a Friday for another 5 hours. So about 85 hours for 4 weeks. With taxes taken out thats only around $675 a month. Yeah...

Money's gonna be really tight that first month. But I'm still moving. I've got a Nintendo Wii I know I can sell for extra cash pretty quickly, and some Xbox games. Jules should be getting her $300 economic stimulus check in soon as well. So we should be ok.

I told her since she gets close to $900 a month no matter what....she's the official bread winner of the household. Which is fine by me. I don't mind having a sugar momma. ;)

Thankfully though the lost hours won't be permanent. One of the other designers is gonna either quit or get let go in the next few weeks....and when it gets closer to august, alot of big jobs usually come in so things will pick back up again.

I'm gonna be going to meet the landlord today and get the deposit paid, snag the key to the apartment, and take some photos and measurements of the place to figure out where all the furniture is gonna go.

Then it'll be time to start packing. I'm both excited and scared about this new change. But over all I think it will be good.
