all joking aside....(I know Im crazy...)

why is it that whenever I try to just play casually and not be serious...when I die one too many time...I get this twitch...the twitch to do better.

Then I start to try harder, plan and strategize more...get more pissy when I die....

What is up with that...

I quit playing gears tonight because I wasn't performing to my own expectations...so I went into Halo 3. Everyone in the first match quit except for me and the host of the room...

the final score was 15-5 not in my favor. So needless to say my blood pressure shot up some.

I don't like being "competitive" but I don't like dying every 5 seconds either.

What the hell can I do? I can't win either way. I wanna play to have fun, but once that urge hits...the emotions get out of wack when I'm not performing like I feel I should...

Its a no win situation. Don't wanna spend every waking moment playing this one game to get good...but then I don't wanna get rusty either. bah...

I'm all too familiar with that feeling. Same thing happened to me these past days. had to quit halo 3 and go play a single player game.

I enjoyed playing Gears with you tonight. I suck most of the time so I am slowly getting use to it. I don't like it but I m getting use to it. I wanted to talk to you but didn't get the chance. My sister and her family live in Aiken. Of course, she is wanting to move back to Spartanburg. We will have to play again.

I totally know what you mean and I dont get it either. Sometimes I have to unplug my mic when playing timmies as to not scream in my clan mates ears.

Relax Gat.... I think all of us go through that. I did the other day and had to quit. I realized i cant play all juiced up. (Caffiene) I start to shake to much and cant aim for Crap.

Gat, welcome to the club of 2o2p. Part and party of being a member of the aging gaming population is that we are destined to get our asses summarily trounced by Timmies on a routine basis. They are younger, faster, and better than we are. We must accept that. However, finding myself with the EXACT same feelings, I've been in search of the game that can help compensate for my lack of twitch that the Timmies have. I'm hoping...no, praying...that Shadowrun next week is it. I love the FPS rush, but need some tactical aspect that actually matters in the game. That's what Shadowrun is being sold as...I just hope it lives up. B.
