yeesh...

last time I try to fix a 360 myself. had a red-ringed pro that was laying around and I decided.....what the hell. I'll try to fix it.

replaced the x-clamps with new screws with plastic washers, placed new cooling gel.

I think I fried the board though because after I cooked it for a few minutes and tightened the screws down for the last time....I noticed the board slightly warping depending on how hard I tightened...which was barely.

So its probably dead in the water. But I'm gonna let it cool off for an hour or so then power it up and see what happens. Maybe a early x-mas miracle.

If not...I'll probably be getting a cheapo arcade system at some point so I can stream netflix in the bedroom.

Maybe I can find a replacement motherboard or something.
