We thought the trip would be to hard for our kids (hard on them and hard on us) so we left them at home. Neighbors and friends worked in shifts to get the kids to school, stay with them at home, etc.
One of our more enterprising friends brought supplies with her so the kids could make Thanksgiving Tshirts on which they would write what they are thankful for.
Christopher, our oldest at five, was first and he put down a solid boy answer - He is thankful for the woods and deer. Right now he and his cousin are all about going to the woods, playing in the mud and finding deer.
Next came Sydney who is four. She is a tender hearted snuggle bug and her answer reflected this:
The final shirt was produced by Joseph, our youngest who will be three this coming March. He produced his answer without hesitation I am told:
That's my boy! :D
