Army Strong and Army Stupid

You know how you have that relative or friend that's just a complete moron/idiot/ho/sailor or something else not so great.  You know how you can hack on him, but you won't let anyone else, kind of like, he ain't heavy he's my brother kinda sentiment.  That's how I feel about the Army.  I'll bitch sometimes, hell frequently even, about some of the stupid stuff we put up with, but I don't like it when people who don't know anything about it say negative stuff about us.  I know, everyone has their right of free speech, and that's not what I'm against at all.  I'm just sayin', I don't personally appreciate it when anyone who is not a fellow Soldier insults the Army, or a non-servicemember insults the military in general.  We follow lawful, legal orders implemented by the CIC (President, that is).  More specifically, we don't make policy, we enforce it.

As you can tell, an event took place, which I can't necessarily post on a Blog, that has me a bit riled.   Anyways, it made go all HOOAHH and watch some RahRah Army Vids, like this one below.  Which led me back to the oldie but goodie, the Army's response to John Kerrys foolish mistake when he garbled this speech and came out sounding like he said the Army was a bunch of morons.  I'm sure most of you have seen both, but still, it's worth taking a look again.
