Remembering the Rossington-Collins Band

In 1977, a terrible plane crash killed three members of the Lynyrd Skynyrd band, including lead singer Ronnie Van Zant,as well as the bands career. Two years later, former band members Gary Rossington and Allen Collins formed the Rossington-Collins Band. The band lasted 5 years, putting out two albums. They broke up in 1982 due to drama between Gary Rossington and vocalist Dale Krantz's growing relationship (they got married soon after the bands break up) as well as the growing instability of Allen Collins whos wife died in 1980. Still, the music was great. Here's some live recordings. No video, sry but the recordings are pretty good for the day.

I hated this band, especially the chick singer. Me and my brother saw these guys at some triple bill, and they were so fuckin drunk and stoned, it sounded like feedback and noise for the 4-5 songs they did before getting boo'd off the stage. She spouted some shit and then fell and then talked more shit before she was escorted off. Cripes, what a shit performance. PUN
