Thinking about going to college

Yesterday I had a thought about work and how much I hate where I'm at my job.Then all of the sudden it came to me, if I want a change I have to make it.So I thought about what at work I thought I could do that others do and then do it better.The more I thought about it the more excited I got, I was happened to look up and see one of the people in the art room come out with some printing plates and put them in the plate drawer and go back to the art room.Thats when it hit me square in the face, I want to learn their job.

I know a little about doing it, and it doesn't seem all that hard.But in order to do it better than them I need to goto college and learn all that I can so I can better at it than them.I mean all they do is sit in this tiny room and readjust art work so that it looks correct on the negative and then onto the plate.Sometimes they may have to manipulate the color of the image or the size to make it work.I know some of the programs they use are Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, but I don't know how to use them as well as them.I have been up there a few times in the past asking for tips and had a t-shirt done up by one of the guys.He took the modified Wart Hog from my sig and put it on a t-shirt.

So as I thought about it some more today I decided to look up what this job that I want so bad is called.And came to the conclusion that it is Graphic Design, did some research on the levels of this job and do believe I can do it.Its a 33 hr course at the local community college and a lot of hard work but hopefully I will succeed at this.
