Bungie gave me a Present??

HRRMMM.

Anyways, as most of you know I've embarked on my mission for 45, and my Brigadier. Well last night I finally got it. Alot of People have helped me in getting from about 38 to 45. So many that, im not gonna just name the ones i can remember, dont wanna forget anyone. You know who ya are :). Thank you. This tag was so hard to rank up theres no way id have seen a 45 going in TS alone. I require high ammounts of team work and communication to do my best, and without people i know going in MM I rarely see that.

So I have gotten to a HS 45 just shy of 2000 EXP. Im at 1916 right now. Which means I never had any gold bars(not that thier bad..) I just didnt want any hahaha. Anyways the only Gold bars I want are on my Brigadier General, in 2084 more Wins I'll get there(saying i dont win some DBL EXP).

So the story of how i got my 45...to the best of my recollection.

I recently teamed up with Knifeman and Cbass for the MLG League(our 4th is Rebirth) and well I told them about my plans and goal to get my 45 soon, and thier like "oh yea, we'll help you get that real soon" And well 2 weeks later, im there.. So thanks guys, and be sure and thank your SBG buddies that played with us too. Anyways..

Game 1 was at 11:43PM Bungie time(really late for us lol). Other team didnt veto 3v3 TS on Standoff, and we rocked the BR lol couldnt get the hog going at all... but controlled laser and won 44-26 stats page : http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStatsHalo3.aspx?gameid=878084140&player=GridironGrace

Game 3  Team BR's on Valhalla Man did we ever jump out to a great lead in this one.. only for me to suck and them to gain top control and come back..lazy sk8r joined us for this one as well,  I got laser off the bat and like 3 kills with it before i died.. then only ended up with 5 total in our 48-44 loss.. not to complain.. ive really stopped complaining about lag unless its AWEFUL but there did seem to be a little bit of issue here seeing as how i hurt a guy with 2 nades and still couldnt get a kill after 2 shots in his face :(. http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStatsHalo3.aspx?gameid=878112206&player=GridironGrace

Game 4 Lost 2 in a row now.And this game started bad. Team BR's on Narrows. We fell behind early  i was getting down a bit, thinking "man theres now way im getting 45 2nite" then Magic.. a gift from Bungie perhaps?? I dunno but the other team dropped a guy when it was like 38-30? lol anyways maybe he quit.. he did have low exp for GP. we faught and faught.. getting closer to catching up.. thanks to wraiths 24 kills and me and knife having 14+ assists. sk8r with 10. Game 5 Team BR's on High Ground.12:25 PST Stepped up my game.. seemed like we all did.. we were all positive.. i was +4 13-10-9 Kids never had a chance.. all HS 50's in another playlist and we made 2 quit when it was like 20-6, steakdinner at 12:30 AM PST, 50-29 win and we have a 2 win streak going. http://www.bungie.net/Stats/GameStatsHalo3.aspx?gameid=878137101&player=GridironGrace

Game 6 and the reason for this blog. You see I've won 4 in a row. 5 in a row.. 3 in a row several times and never ranked up to a 45 lol. So i wasnt sure when it would happen but i felt like there was no way a win here would get it for me. Knife and wraith were tired.. and right as it locked us into this one wraith actually said "well im gonna go to bed" but thos magic words locked us in and he stayed for our 6th game, Team BR's on Guardian.

Ironic map. reason i mention this is you can prolly already tell that this 6th game is "the one". this map is Ironic because until of late, after playing on teams with friends and in leagues etc.. i SUCKED on this map. Now i practice on it regular.. jumps.. escapes, cover.. etc etc.. Nading primaraly. Anyways.. when i first started playing TS this is the first map i ever played on.. and hated it's "fake lockout feel" now i love it.. and it was awesome to see it pop up for game 6.

This started out great.. Wraith got hit by nades at Snipe 2 and couldnt grab OS.. but i came trucking fast as I could from elbow.. snagged OS just in time and got a quick double. PHFEW. almost hurt us bad.. good news is shotty guy decides to try and finiish me, and i got him from the grave.. 3-2 lead.. we got power weapons :)

Very close game.. both teams were set up well.. us at snipe/green them at blue/gold may as well have been MLG save for a few hammer kills and shotty lol.  Some how we start getting a great team shot going and pick up a solid lead lik 38-29ish something like that.. and the other team panics...i mean lifting over into 2 of us.. going top glass.. i mean you could tell they felt scared.. so we won...50-38, i stayed in post game like 6 seconds and didnt get any love.. i said "aweeee no love bungie??"

backed us out and looked away from the screen a second and i hear Knife say "grid" and i look.. next to my name.. a big 45 :) My hands went up in triumph.. and YESSSSSSSSSSS was what came out first... of course i thanked those guys as wraith said AWESOME.. and went off to bed.. same for Knife.. sk8r lives in my hometime and he's like "feels good dont it, i remember when i got mine"

and ya know it really does oddly feel good.. i mean i make a big deal over a 45, well if you seen the mess my tags in you'd feel good too.. all those games.. only like a 54% win %, due to me being halo n00b when i bought my 360 and halo 3 last winter. so yea it felt great.. still does.. and im sure brigadier general wont feel quite as good.. but my plan to be HS 49 with 5000EXP before even attempting to get to 50, will make my 5 star Genaral an AWESOME Feat in which i'll prolly have to win 50 games in a row lol.
