Creating & Editing Avatars, Blog Banners, Whateva...tars.... On your own.

I posted something similar to this, in my clan forum. For another "KILLZONE COMMANDOS" member. Who wanted to know, how to make his own banners. Thought it might be use full, to someone else... out there. You can do it all, with this software/freeware. LEGALLY & FREE!! A Great photo editing software/freeware. Extremely similar to the, very popular & expensive, A@obe photoshop. Its name is.... GIMP.

I am not here to sell any one on it. I have used pro versions of photoshop, for many years...$$$. I have been very impressed with the "FREE GIMP". If u do download it. ( it is available 100% FREE for Windows, Linux, & Mac.)

WARNING! The only hitch: It does come with some other harmless, "free" installers. For things you probably don't want! Dont worry.... you can choose to NOT install them, in custom install. Or, delete/uninstall, the few new items, you've never seen before!. KEEP GIMP.

If you have used, any kind of photo editing software... It should be very easy to pick up GIMP. Even if you have'nt... Make sure the first thing, you do.... is make a DUPLICATE!! In GIMP: Open a picture file, to manipulate in GIMP~ Click to IMAGE, then, click DUPLICATE. GIMP will create a duplicated pic. Close the original. Knock yourself out, have fun! You can't screw up your original pic, if you do this.
