Then I took a closer look and realized someone parked four sections of a modular home, covered in white tarp, in the parking lot of the mall across the street. I was at just the right angle for it to appear like there was snow everywhere. Checked the long range forecast....still above freezing temps right through Wed.
On a sadder note, Peter Boyle passed away. The younger generation might remember him as Raymond's dad but I'll always think of Young Frankenstein when I hear his name.
NEW YORK (AP) -- Peter Boyle, who played the tap-dancing monster in "Young Frankenstein" and the curmudgeonly father in the long-running sitcom "Everybody Loves Raymond," has died. He was 71.
Boyle died Tuesday evening at New York Presbyterian Hospital. He had been suffering from multiple myeloma and heart disease, said his publicist, Jennifer Plante.
This has to be my favourite scene from the movie. Funny as all hell.
