What a way to start.....

.....the holiday weekend. Picked up the kids in Kanata Friday afternoon and got home just before the freezing rain hit. That was good but it eliminated a chance to pop into my parents place for a visit. Grocery shopping across the street resulted in my daughter wiping out on the ice. Got to watch hapless Xmas shoppers slid around the mall parking lot. I know, bad karma points for laughing at the pain of others.

 In the wee hours of the morning I get bowled over with a full blown migraine. Already slept so popping meds and passing out is no longer an option. Waiting for the pills to kick in, I do my best to hold off the nausea but of course no luck and I spend the next half hour with alternating pain waves and upchucks. Finally the medicine does its trick and all is well...for now. Unfortunately though I feel like shit so Xmas visiting is out for today. Keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Found a trailer for a movie that looks stupid and twisted enough to catch my interest.
