Shared on Wed, 04/30/2008 - 08:40Just got back from Atlanta last night. We weren't suppose to come back until tonight. My student didn't make the finals of the marketing competition and wanted to come on home. Okay by me. I was starting to miss the family. It was good to see my sister and her family while I was down there. My nephew is growing like a weed. I also think my brother in law will be getting a 360 in the near future. Before he married my sister, he was a big gamer. His house was the hangout for his friends and gaming and when my sister came into the picture, she put an end to his fun. I brought my 360 along for the trip and he and my student stayed up all night playing it. I believe he is hooked.
While unloading my car yesterday, the UPS man pulled up with my 360 and my Tritton headphones. Both have been in the shop. Tritton replaced everything. All brand new stuff. Sweet. I have missed these badly. The only problem is they forgot to send the fiber optic cable to hook them to the 360. Oh well. They have great service. The 360 is the same one I sent. They did replace the faceplate. I had a broken usb door hinge. Everything seems to work fine with it. The kids are excited to have their own 360.
While I was away, the wife picked up Mario Kart. Raced a little bit last night. Seems like it is going to be a fun game. Also picked up GTA IV. Having never played any of the others, I am not sure what to say about it yet. I think I am going to like it. I did get some virtual nookie last night. I spent my entire trip playing Mass Effect and have really gotten into it. So between Mass Effect, GTA IV, Mario Kart and of course COD 4, I should have plenty to play for the next little bit.
