Call Of Duty 2 On Veteran

I just picked this game up last week.  I just finished up RB6 Vegas so wanted another shooter to play through.  Normally I play a game on easy first or the next level up.  I saw on COD 2 that all the achievements are for playing it on veteran.  I thought to myself, how hard can it be.  This game is going to keep me busy for a long time.

on veteran all you can hope for is getting to the next check point.

Hahaha I haven't had the chance to play this one yet. From the sounds of it, I am saner for it! Gears of war was great because if you played it on Hardcore you unlocked the achievements for every level below it as well. COD2 sounds like an exercise in whipping your ass. I can't wait to try it out! Really!
