Clearing Cache

Can somebody tell me how to do this?  I know I have asked this question before but I can't find the answer.  Everytime I try to play a downloaded map on W@W, it says I don't have it and I have to download it again which only takes a few seconds but is aggravating.  Played some Vegas 2 last night and had the same problem.  Said I didn't have new maps.  If I remember correctly, somebody said clearing my cache would fix this problem.  Help me please.

Go to the system blade and then select memory.\r \r Press Y on the HD symbol and then press X,X,Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X,X. Once you do this a messsage will appear saying: Do you want to perform maintenance on your Xbox 360 storage devices?

I'm havin the same problem. I figure since the download goes so quick we're actually re-downloading the licenses and not the full map packs.Will deleting then re-downloading fix it??
