I loved comic books as a kid.  Over the last 2 or 3 years, I have tried to pick up a couple and just couldn't get into anything.  I don't know why I have the urge but I really want to find 1 or 2 that I can get into.  I loved Fantastic Four as a kid but I just can't find any "superhero" comics that grab my attention.  Can any of you comic experts point me towards some of the better comics? I wish I could tell you what I am into but I just don't know.  The generic superhero just doesn't do anything for me.

I have heard about the Preacher before. I need to look into that one. I will check out the other one also. Thanks for the heads up.

No problem. Both are 9-10 volume runs so they aren't cheap or short. Preacher is much more "raunchy" than Y the last man. So if you're into the freaky stuff then that's the one for you. Y is more of a plain jane action story. Still great, but much less violent/freaky. NG

If I were you I would check out the first volumes of two different series that I read and loved recently. They are Y: The Last Man and Preacher. More importantly, when you find something that you like, then you should look for more stuff by the same author or artist. NG
