Down On The Farm

H
H2Daddy

Here are some pictures of my son about a year ago.  He and his mother took the day off from school and spent the day on a friend's dairy farm.  Wife figured he could learn more there in a day than he could going to school.  For all you city folks that have never been on a farm.  Enjoy.

Thats the best type of education. It might not be math or grammar, but it's hands on, interactive, and is a great life experience to be had early on.\r \r I was only on a farm once for a week when I was a young teen (Im a city slicker)...I hated every moment of it but more than once over the past few decades, in conversations and experiences with friends and family, I found out that I learned things in that one week that most people will never know about.\r \r Good for you and good for your son!

Great pictures! You guys are giving him a great head start in life, and I would say that your son is very lucky to have parents like you.

I grew up in a ranching community and relatives own a ranch. I have many fond memories and it was an experience without price.

I grew up in a dairy town. I lived next to a farm all my life until I moved away to college. I even worked 2 summers in the farm to help pay my way through college. Good times.. Hard honest work.
