I'm Gonna Shoot My Eye Out

Well at least I hope not.  I am buying an air rifle.  I have been in the mood lately for a new gun.  I started out wanting an AR15.  I have always wanted one.  Of course they run $900 and up.  Plus, they aren't cheap to shoot.  Then I decided to just get a new .22.  Cheap to shoot.  The only problem is I would have to go somewhere to shoot.  Then I had the bright idea to try and air rifle.  Cheap to shoot plus I can shoot in my own backyard.  Heck, I can shoot in my own basement if I want.  I know, not as cool as an AR but I am too old to worry about being cool any more.  I started to explore air rifles and wow, there sure are a bunch of different kinds out there.  I am not talking about the cheap bb guns you get at Wally World.  I am talking about guns that look and feel like real guns.  Now I just have to make up my mind as to what I want.  Anybody else out there into air rifles?

I have airsoft pistols and rifles which I don't really shoot anymore. I also own a couple of air rifles one CO2 with rotary clips you can pop in and out for quick rapid fire shooting both pellet/bb guns have decent scopes.Then I have various rifles and shotguns which are more satisfying to shoot since they are real guns which have much more power and kick. My ruger .22 is the cheapest to use and is pretty accurate also, gotta love the banana clips!

I shoot quite a bit, from pellet guns to howitzers, (well, used to) My dad bought a chinese pellet gun that actually has a rifled barrel! very accurate, my brothers and I always break it out when we're at his house. I can't count how many blackbirds we've shot out of his garden. Good times!

i have a shotgun and a rifle, i don't go shooting much anymore though.
