I was taking the garbage off today and I had time to settle down and I started thinking about past Christmas(sp?). I remember being younger and getting up and going into the family room. We had a fireplace and every Christmas, we would leave Santa milk and cookies next to the fireplace. Christmas morning the cookies and milk would be gone and there were always reindeer footprints coming out of the fireplace along with Santas. I guess as kids we weren't smart enough to realize that first, it was never snowing or second, it hadn't melted inside. I guess flour doesn't melt. Thanks mom to going to all the trouble. We had Christmas in the "good" living room that never got used for anything else. Dad would go in first and get the video camera going with the light from hell on top. You were instantly blinded as you entered the room and it was almost impossible to find the presents from the blindness. I miss those days. Of course now I am making memories with my kids. I wonder what they will remember when they get older?
So what are your fvorite memories of Christmas? Please share.
