Finally found a Wii for for my buddy.  Walmart got a few in.  I tried to buy two and they wouldn't let me. Some crap about letting others being able to get one and people selling them on Ebay.

I have been off since Thursday for Spring Break.  Being a teacher has some perks.  We usually go and visit my parents at the beach but we decided to stick around the house and do a little spring cleaning.  Started cleaning the laundry room and found that the washing machine was leaking a little bit.  No problem.  I called my buddy's dad who fixes appliances.  I paid him $40 to tell me it wasn't worth fixing.  Dang it.

The stupid thing isn't even that old.  Oh well.  Went to Lowe's to pick up a new one and of course the model we picked out is out of stock.  There is one due on the truck at 5:00 but I can't pick it up until morning.  Wife decided to load up the clothes and head to the laundromat.

Decided to trade in some old Xbox games and bought Zelda for the Wii.  I am starting to enjoy it.  The Wii has a place in my heart.  No where as big a spot as the 360 but it is growing on me.  Bought a classic controller and some points and downloaded Donkey Kong and Super Mario Brothers.  Anybody know if you can save those games?  My wife played SMB and couldn't figure out how to save where she got to.  Do I need a memory card?  Not even sure if they have memory cards.  If so, what kind does it take?

As far as I know, there are no changes in the classic games. So there is no way to save game progress.

Hooray for emulation software on my original Xbox. You can save anywhere you want.

I think it has a memory card, which is actually an SD card. So you do not have to buy the nintendo brand.
