Shooting

I finally got to shoot my new Glock last night. I love my new .40. I took a friend to the range with me last night that just got into shooting. He is wanting to get a gun and doesn't really know what he wants to get. After shooting the Glock, he is ready to go buy. I also took a few .22s along and he liked shooting them but he wants a Glock now. I am going to keep trying to talk him into a .22. They are just so much more economical to shoot. 500 rounds of .22 costs about the same as 50 rounds of .40.

But dang that Glock is fun.

He could always get the Glock and buy the .22 conversion kit for it. (it's a bit of an investment up front, but in the long run saves a lot of money on ammo) I love my .40 Glock, but can only afford to go to the range about 1x per month with it firing .40 ammo. With the conversion kit in, I can go 2x or even 3x per month.

I tried a buddy's 9MM Glock - it's nice & snappy to shoot but I get frustrated with the loading contraption. I ended up getting a SIG P226 .40 - I love it! .40s are expensive to shoot though, I've been looking at a Browning .22 just for the cheap ammo.
