T-Ball Practice

Tonight is the big night.  We start t-ball practice.  My oldest son played t-ball on 2 teams last year (spring and fall) and this past spring he played coach pitch.  My youngest finally gets to play and he is juiced.  Somehow I got talked into coaching them.  This way I got to get some of their friends on the team.  I have coached high school football, baseball and for the past 8 years golf and softball.  I am more nervous about coaching t-ball than I was any of those.  My boys are a bear to wake up in the mornings.  It usually takes 5-10 minutes for them to get out of bed.  The first five minutes they don't budge.  The next five minutes are spent stretching and going on.  This morning I walked in and said "Time to get up.  T-ball practice today."  My four year old sat straight up and said "T-ball practice?"  He was up and dressed in under a minute today.  The little guy is fired up.  We will see how it goes.

Lots of fun, though my son did not take to t-ball. He really enjoyed b-ball and I am coaching him now in flag football - it has been a blast so far. Good luck!
