I got this from one of my coworkers (it was written by their brother-in-law).  I can't really argue with it.  I don't know how this idiot keeps getting reelected:

Subject: Oklahoma has the patent on dumbass.

My cheeky Okie monkeys,

After watching C-Span’s coverage of President Obama’s speech in Cairo, and downloading the complete text from the New York Times, I am convinced that it is one of the greatest speeches I have ever heard, right up there with his speech on race in Philadelphia in 2008.

I mean, an American President offering a cogent, articulate, and intelligent analysis of the situation in the Middle East, the conflicts among governments and religions, and the need to find common ground rather than seeking differences is music to God’s own ears.

AND unlike Bush/Cheney, He gave this speech in Cairo, Egypt, in the heart of the Muslim world rather than some U.S. Army Base or Aircraft Carrier. If this keeps up, I am going to elevate Barack Obama from American President status to Global Statesman and world changers the likes of which are Mohandis Gandhi, Nelson Mandella and the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King. Politicians are a dime a dozen, Statesman on the other hand are an endangered species.

In this one speech, he spoke to, let’s see, about a billion Muslims, a billion and a half Christians, and millions of Jews the world over; offering peace, reconciliation and a way forward, rather than the same old backward hate-filled, us against them, bullying, war threatening rhetoric the world is so used to hearing from America.

Barack Obama continues to be a redemptive and healing antidote to Bush/Cheney and their miserable reign of fear and stupidity. Being American is almost cool again…maybe we will be able to travel abroad again without someone tucking an IED in our hotel beds or throwing shoes at our leaders.

Alas, should I become too giddy and excited with the USS America making a U turn to avoid foundering of the shoals of shit-for-brains; Congressman shit-for-brains is staring at me from a newspaper vending machine as I walk into Perkins Restaurant.

Yup, that’s right. Right there on the front page of “The Oklahoman” is Congressman Jim Inhofe (again!!) criticizing Barack Obama’s speech as being “Un-American” for correctly referring to the war in Iraq as a “war of choice.” Inhofe continues his festival of stupidity by wondering “which side Obama is on” for closing Guantanamo because “there is not one documented case of torture in Guantanamo.”

“Un-American??” “Which side is Obama on??” “Not one documented case of torture in Guantanamo????????????”

O’Reilly, Hannity, Rove, Limbaugh, Cheney, Gingerich…yeah, all these dumbasses piss me off with their bullshit criticisms of Obama; but when it comes to having a Ph.D. Emeritus in dumbassness, a veritable patent on dumbass, who do they call on?

You guessed it, the good old Republican Senator from Oklahoma- Jim Inhofe, the biggest dumbest assest of them all…the guy who thinks Global Warming is a hoax, that God created Adam and Eve 6,000 years ago, giving them an M-16 and telling them to subdue and conquer the planet for Jesus Christ and Exxon.

Even though this Okie Neanderthal doesn’t believe in evolution, he is a walking, talking testimony that in some distant past, mankind was un-evolved stupid grunting beasts who clubbed everything that didn’t eat them. Inhofe reminds us of what we came from several million years ago…small-brained, violent, feces-tossing monkeys.

Yet, Inhofe gets elected over and over again….umm…this doesn’t recommend Oklahoma very much.

One can only hope that Oklahoma will move forward and evolve into beings that have a human- sized brain, stand up and walk on two legs, and think.

Stand up and think!!

Steve

Oklahoma's not a bad place to live, don't get me wrong. It's not paradise, by any means, but there really are great people here and it's growing despite the bad economy. It just irritates me that most people know nothing of this state and when he speaks for it he really just makes us all look terrible. I know the majority of us are Christian, so I can understand some of his positions on that basis. However, he really likes to stir up the racists and is a complete hypocrite. He actively attempted to block and evolutionist from speaking at a state university just a few months ago. It backfired on him, as the session sold out shortly after it got publicized due to Inhofe's involvement.
