The Movies

So, I live in small town USA and we have a movie theater that has been remade, but still has that old school feel to it and is pretty nice. Lucky for me my baby sister (she hates it when I call her my baby sister beings she is turning 20 this year) works at the movie theater, so I get to go to the movies for free all the time and get free pop and popcorn while I am there. Not to mention she also brings me home movie theater popcorn all the time to make me fat. So those are all the perks I have.

Now moving on to the not so perky parts of the small town theater...

1) Seating- the seats in the theater are probably the least comfortable seats you can buy, but they are like the originals that used to be in theaters. Usually it is about three-quarters through the movie when your ass falls asleep, and there is no repositioning that will help you. But after awhile you get used to it I guess, but then getting up and leaving is always a problem.

2) The Screen- the screen is not so bad, but the older projection screens are not so great, sometimes it gets fuzzy and the picture is not so good at all. So to fix this you have to go and tell the people that are working there that something is going wrong and then they go fix this. So during the movie people are getting up and going out to the lobby to tell the people that things are wrong, and then they are fixing them and it is just a wonderful process.

3) People- you are seated pretty close together, so you have to be respectful of the people around you. Never the less, I always seem to go and sit by the lady that always has to talk or be crying or laughing for way to long so it is hard to hear the movie. Sometimes I just want to turn around and smack the shit out of people. Or there is always that one time when you are watching a movie like Happy Feet, and the kid behind you decides to tap dance on the ground during the whole movie.

Now I am the type of guy that will let all of this slide because I don't like to be rude to people, but these things are all things you have to put up with to go to a small town movie theater. But it is a different experience, and I like it, but I do like the larger theater better, but the small town theater is a different experience and I recommend going to one if you have one near by. Anyway, that's all I have to say about that, now I am going to sit here and eat popcorn :P.

I had this game upon it's release and even got the stunts and effects expansion. I loved the game for the movie making play and nothing more. I had a fun but lost interest after abit of time. I'll check your movie out :)

Yeah Lester I am the same way. I basically only made movies with it also. Unfortunatley World of Warcraft came along and I lost all track of every other game for a long time. I have been "clean" now for 3 months and am picking up on tons of great games that have come out while I was in a WOW induced haze.
