Well, instead of telling everyone indevidually what I do, I guess I will tell everyone about it here. I am a tower climber, which means yes, I climb towers...... But seriously, I work for a company that basically audits radio towers. Vertex Tower is the company I work for, so check it out. Anyway, my job is to go to a tower and take pictures of everything around the tower and then climb it taking pictures of the things on the tower and all their serial numbers and whatnot. And when I don't do that part of it I go around and tension all of the guy wires and if they are not up to spec, then I correct the lines..... It is soposidly rated the most dangerous job in the world, or at least in the top five every year, so it is fun and exciting and I get to travel everywhere to do it since we are one of the most effecient companies out there that do this. So you can call me a tower climber, a professional climber since I am certified, or just a crazy SOB, anyway you put it, you can just call me Hawk........since that is what everyone else calls me, unless you are one of the ladies that call me daddy ;)

Ok, i'll try and answer those in order, so here we go....First, they are cell phone towers that have pretty much any cell phone provider on the tower, so we are checking for the tower company to see what they have on their towers. They are a veriety of heights from like 180ft. min. to around 500ft. max.....there are on the other hand fm radio towers that are like 1200ft. tall. We wear full body harnesses and are tied off all the time, most of the time we are attatched to what they call a safety climb that is a cable that goes all the way up and we have a cable break that allows you to go up, but if you go down too fast it catches, so it is pretty safe. I have a few pics up in the galery here on the site, and as far as vedios go we will have to make one, and I will post it as soon as we make one. And as far as taking a dump, if you really have to, avoid crapping into the wind, and try and avoid co-workers on the ground. And I am sure they did.
