:08 seconds left

I have to give a shout out to DaddyFatSack. We have been playing some Madden 07 for the past two nights and the games have been competitive and fun. Even though I'm 0-2 we seem to be evenly matched and last night game was a heart breaker.

Just like the Madden commercial where McNabb has :08 seconds to win the game. I was in this very situation with no timeouts with the ball on DFS 3 yard line. Since I had no timeouts, I had to throw the ball to try and tie the game and go into overtime. The score was 24-17. DFS was playing as the Redskins and I was using the Rams. I have to call him DFS since calling him Daddy or FatSack may be a little inappropriate. LOL.

The game was tied @ 17 with under 3 minutes to play when DFS hit me with a deep pass. With a minute left, I drove the length of the field to get to his 3 yd line. Talk about intense moments and calling the right plays. Back to the :08 seconds.......

I was able to get 3 plays in before time ran out and DFS held me out of the end zone. I could have risked a run play but time would've ran out on that one play. I would rather have 2 maybe 3 tries instead of just one. Steven Jackson was fumbling (3 total) so much I didn't want to risk it.

Good, clean Madden play is always a blast. I do recall DFS being very quiet during the last minute of the game then he finally said "this has got to go down as one of the best games I have played". Same here man, same here.
