I completely understand. What I failed to mention was the myriad number of ways in which you can help that don't involve money but instead just a few minutes of your time. Allow me to elaborate.
Social Media:
Are you on Facebook? Google+? Twitter? Any social media site you belong to would be a great place to start. Share links to my donation page and/or my blog posts. Make your own posts about it. Get the word out to those you are connected to via social media and encourage them to spread the word.
Do you use Twitch or any other similar streaming services? Do you post personal videos on YouTube, Vimeo, or other video hosting sites? How about taking some time to talk about Extra Life? You can talk about what Extra Life is, what they do, who they help, and why helping them matters. If people ask how they can help, you can direct them to the Extra Life website. Encourage them to talk about it. Maybe even mention my efforts or direct them to my donation page.
Friends, Family, Co-workers:
Money is seldom a popular subject, but it does come up from time to time. Charitable organizations such as this may make talking about money an easier subject to broach. I am not suggesting that you just come out and immediately start talking to everybody about Extra Life, but if the subect of charity should come up then talking about this event and/or my participation in it would not seem inappropriate. However, if you know someone(s) who you're pretty sure would be interested in helping out then I would definitely encourage you to talk to them about this even without the need of a pre-cursor conversation about money or charity.
Come Play With Me:
On November 2nd I really do intend to spend 25 hours straight playing video games and having people to play with would do a be a great help in keeping me awake and on task. Especially during the last few hours. If you are around that day come join me. Send me a message here or on Xbox live and let's get in some gaming. I don't know what I'll be playing for certain but it will be from among one of the following:
- Halo 3
- Halo 3: ODST
- Halo: Reach
- Halo 4
- Battlefield 3
- GTA V
- Borderlands 2
- Happy Wars
- WSOP Pro Tournament
So If you want to help but you've held back because you aren't able to donate money towards my efforts, just remember, that isn't the only way that you can help me to help the kids. Your time and energy can be just as helpful to making this all happen.
Thank You.

As long as BF3 or GTA V aren't your last few games, count me in to help you stay awake. PG41175
