Finally...

There really should be campaign limits.  This past election seemed like a lifetime.  Thanks to everyone who went out and exercised their civic duty.  It was refreshing to see the long lines at the polls and see people actually care about the elections. 

I didn't vote for either main party candidate, but Barack Obama is my president now and I will support him in his term.  That doesn't mean I won't hold him accountable though.  There were a lot of pie of the sky promises made by all the candidates.  If Obama can live up to even half of them, he might be a good catalyst for moving this country forward.

Look on the bright side, with democrats in the White House and in control of the senate, if they screw the pooch royally, we'll have someone to blame next time around and it'll be easy to sort out the garbage.
