Getting old is no fun.

I have had Acid Reflux pretty much since I was a teenager. Digestive problems run in my family. I went to see my gastroenterologist today because it has been bad lately. I had an attack that was so bad it sent me in to a severe asthma attack. He tried to play it cool, but his bedside manner kind of sucks and I could tell something was up; he wanted to get me in right away for an upper endoscopy. That is there they take a line with a light and a camera on the end and shove it down your esophagus to look for more severe problems.

I just enjoyed my last glass of water I am allowed to have before I go in for my procedure tomorrow morning. I've never been under general anaesthesia and that is really the only part that has me concerned. Well, that and what they might find.
