Being the Office/Warehouse Manager of a beer warehouse is not all it's cracked up to be......

Quick backstory. I am the Office/Warehouse Manager for a beer warehouse. Our beer is brewed in Wisconsin to be sold in Canada.

Ok, so for the past few weeks we noticed a nasty smell in the warehouse but could not figure out where it was coming from. We knew it was bad beer, figured maybe it was a few bad cans but nothing prepared us for what we found. Here is what was under the pallet after we pulled it out.

As you can see, it looks like something was killed. The white/brown shit in the middle was some sort of mold. The smell was unbelievable.

This next photo shows what the pallet looked like. It doesn't look so bad. Things can't be too bad on the inside can it??

Well, inside the skid we found the nastiest combo of moldy beer/flys/bugs and larvae I have ever seen. It was fucking disgusting.

I was gagging repeatedly throughout and am amazed I didn't puke. It was that bad.

What you can't see in the pictures is the amount of flies that were in there. No word of a lie there was 50,000 flies in amonst that shit with their little worm counter parts on every can. The worst part was then we had to dump every can of beer out in front of Canada Customs to prove that we "destroyed" the beer. We poured out over 2400 cans. By the end of the day and after enduring the smell I can say that I never want to drink another of my companies beers again.

So for now I think I will stick to rye and coke because beer just isn't the same anymore

I just puked on my computer and cried a bit inside....poor beer...poor poor beer. That is what Canadians get for importing US beer and why import yours!

I was thinking...that rancid beer has got to be better than Venom's Keystone Light. Maybe he'll take it off of your hands. ; )

That reminds me of a 2 year old home brew experiment gone horribily wrong...

Liar. You will be drunk out of your skull on Friday off of your free beer. Free is cheap and you got a headset to buy.

Apparently once one can is affected it can spread. The inside of the can has a liner, while the outside does not. So if any of the beer gets on the outside it can eat away at the cans.
