I saw the Star Wars special edition sitting at ithe store and it was just impossible to pass up. I can justify buying it because my daughter has been wanting a kinect ever since she tried one out at Best Buy.
Spending a more time on consoles is inevitable at this point. A majority of my time is being spent writing papers and doing various projects. Believe me, after sitting at my desk for hours on end, the last thing I feel like doing is playing a pc game. And as much as I love PC gaming, there's really something relaxing about being sprawled out on a couch with a controller.
So now I have to figure out what games to get. My first priority is to finish Twisted Metal on the PS3. This is a game that I waited years for. It's been a major disappointment so far. Not because of the gameplay, rather because of its limited story. Only 3 characters have main story lines. I would have preferred each vehicle had its own story line, you know, like every other Twisted Metal game.
Are there any Xbox games that I have missed over the years? I am planning on picking up Halo 3 finally and completing the story before the fourth installment is released.
Oh, my Xbox gamertag is "iHearPudding" if anyone is interested in sending me a friend request.

Congrats Pete! Enjoy. I have a 360 but I don't use it - stopped my gold account. My boy uses it though. Have you played the Gears of War games? Pretty good games after you get used to the mechanics and the co-op is really well done.
