Shared on Sun, 09/12/2010 - 19:29 So I was one of the many people who got caught up in Halo 2. I was there waiting in line on launch day. It was a cold and raining night. After the gamestop clerk handed me the game I rushed home and threw it in my Xbox. I was just blown away by it. I loved the game. I remember getting together with my friends for our first game online. We just had a ball.
After a few months the Xbox Halo community hit us. One by one we just couldn't take the rude kids anymore. I was the last one standing. It came to a point where every game I was either being screamed at or just forced to listen to a bunch of racist garbage(I know I can mute, I shouldn't have to). Anyways I gave it up. The kids actually ruined it for me.
I swore off gaming my Xbox. I called MS and canceled my account. The 360 came out and I refused to buy it. Halo 3 came out and I stood my ground.
I have decided that I'm going to try to recapture some of the fun that I had. I went to Best Buy yesterday and got myself an Xbox. Guess what I'm doing Tuesday? That's right, getting Halo Reach.
