Ive been emailing, or from his persepctive spamming, him with new music, snippits here or there that I think he would like. I thought to add this to the blog to share with other people too in case anything grabs anybodys interest. There isnt a full review but rather a collection of singles that people can check to see if they want to dedicate to a full album.
Todays Auditory Assult:
Dilated Peoples "Neighborhood Watch"
-Solid album with smart lyrics that flirts with overproduction but doesnt step over the line:
Killer Cuts:
1) Marathon
2) Tryin to Breathe
3) Whos Who
4) World on Wheels
5) Love and War
If you like old school favor that doesnt rely on the sound as a gimmick then I think you will like them.
One of the crews members DJ Babu is awesome. Peep his beat juggling skillz:
