Amazing week (Guitar Hero!!!)

It's been an amazing week so far! And it's only Tuesday. Note: I count the weekend into this equation.  My date with my husband was to much fun. I forgot how great of a time we have when we are out. My husband got a top 25 list of best game cutscenes, openings, endings or commercials.  I got a whole bunch, so I was pretty impressed with myself.  Can you guess #1? Can you guess 3 of them?

My inlaws were up and we did a bit of a gift exchange.  Erica got to open 2 of her gifts, she got a stuffed lamb from Nana and Grandpa, and a pop up tent like house from her Auntie.  It's a pretty cool little thing, it's a thin windbreaker material, and a type of boning. The whole thing collapses to the size of a medium pizza, but when it's up, it's 3 feet square, that's pretty big for a 11 month old. 

 The best gift of all? (hint: check the blog title) My sister in law got me Guitar Hero! W00t!  My husband does indeed rock. I do indeed suck. No really, I can pass the stuff on easy, but it's really hard for me. My husband breezes through with no problems.  He played Miss Murder and missed only 1 note. He said it was an easy song, but I can't keep my fingers on all the buttons, They slip off and I get messed up.  My husband has really long fingers (ahem) and he can easily keep them on the buttons properly.  A sad note: I have Talk Dirty to Me in my head.  If anyone has any ideas of how I can do better let me know. What songs are the most fun to play?

My husband took Monday off work, and the idea was that I was going to meet a friend for lunch and do Christmas shopping. Problem? 25 cm of snow.  I let my husband sleep in, and when my daughter was down for a nap I shoveled. It took 1.5 hours.  Not that I mind, I really don't. I have lost a lot of weight and gained  a bunch of muscle. It was wonderful to see the new things I could do, that I couldn't do before. Before, my back would have given out before I got the job done. Today I am a bit sore in one arm, but it's the good kind of hurt.  My husband took my daughter to the playgroup that I go to on Monday; he had fun with her.  Makes me smile!

This afternoon I watched the season finale of Heroes! It was awesome!  Bit upset Sylar has his powers back. It was fun to see him SO evil as a regular guy.  I absolutely love the Elle and Bob dynamic. I thought it was a nice touch that Bob has a picture of himself with a really big fish instead of his daughter. You can see that Elle is only a thing to him. Good contrast with Noah.  Any predictions for next year?  Note: I love Noah. He could be my boyfriend.

So: to sum up: Great date (Challenge #1: name 3 of the top 25 cutscences/beginnings/endings/or commercials in games), GHIII is WAY too much fun (Challenge#2: help a J-Cat out! What songs are the most fun to play?) and I shoveled snow. A crap load of snow. And watched Heroes (Challenge #3: predictions for next season)
