Baby Girl and Snow

Yes, today Erica shall learn a new word. That word is "snow". They are calling for up to 20 cm over the next 4 days. Big boo.

In Ottawa, there are 2 types of people. When you say "Crap, it's snowing." there are the types who say "I hate snow. This sucks. I want one snowfall on Christmas eve and that is it." then there are the jackoffs who say "Oh yeah great! Skiing! WHOO!!". I honestly try to refrain from saying that I hate people. But these people, the ones who are so estatic about the snow, really piss me off. Leave me with my hatred of the fluffy white stuff, OK? I'm a perky person, I probably piss people off, but these snow lovers are way too much, even for me.

So I took Erica out in the snow. It took like 20 minutes to get her ready, stayed out for maybe 10. She liked it well enough, even though baby had her first facewash. I plunked her in the snow not realising how deep it was, she left a little faceprint. tee hee! I won'der how long it will take for her to learn the word "snow". It's crazy how much she knows now. Just tons of stuff. She knows her toes, she knows socks, she knows that socks go on feet, the knows how to wash people's faces with a washcloth, she can brush people's hair, she knows her stuffed animals by name, she knows crocodiles, she knows that they go "Chomp, chomp, chomp" with the corresponding actions, she know the song wheels on the bus (with actions), she knows wheels, she knows animals (bunnies, kittens, puppies, fish, cows, frogs, owls) etc... The otherr day I showed her how to feed her pooh bear, and she fed him the next day. Just to think 10.5 months ago, she couldn't poop without trouble.

Big girl is growing up!
