Baby's First Lie

Erica just told my husband that Mommy said she could go for a wagon ride now. It's 6:50 at night.  Yeah right!

My dear BasBleu reminded me that my original blog purpose was the 50 book challenge: 50 books one year. Now, at that time I had just had Erica, and I was actually keeping up. I could nurse and read at the same time, she napped all  the time. It was good. Then she actually started getting active and the wheels fell off the reading cart.  I admit: I can do some of the following but not all:

Have a meaningful relationship with my husband

Have meaningful relationship with my daughter

Get in shape

Game

Reading something other than comic books

Have a career that I enjoy

Be an active member of 2old2play

Improve yoga practice

Fake at providing content for the P&W crew

Keep the house clean incl laundry

Two things have fallen off that list.  Guess which ones? Hint: I havne't read a book in ages and I have no clean underwear.

Okay I lie. I have read a bit of a book. It's called "What Great Paintings Say." I love Art History. Why? Cause I love history and purty pictures. This book takes a speciifc painting then talks about aspects of the painting. It could be what the picture is about, the artistic techniques utilized in the painting or a biography of the artist. More than likely all three.If you like art history, art, history or even jsut purty pictures: it's a pick up.
