Now, I hope it's just the cold: the car was just in the auto body shop and I got it back yesterday. Someone smashie-smashied my parked car and took out part of the driver's front bumper of my car. Almost $6000 worth of damage: ouch. Now insurance covered it all, and I got great service from everybody (note: use Enterprise renta car: they pick you up!) and they do check for damage to the innard of the vechicle. All this to say I am *pretty* sure that the engine light is due to the cold. But... maybe not? Once the car was warm, I turned it off, then on again to see what would happen withthe light. Still there. But again: I would direct you to the header of my blog. Minus 27... not including the windchill.
