Confession of a Clan Whore...

Or How I Stopped Worrying And Learned to Love the PCP...

Ahem. I'm JayCat. And I'm a clan whore.

I have proclaimed my undying love and commitment to my man, my kid, my hockey team and my football team. But I refuse to commit to a baseball team, or a clan.

Baseball team thing: well... it's more of a desire for "my team" to win a championship. I am a Leafs and a Redskins fan. If I didn't jump on bandwagons I would never see one.

The clan thing.. it's different. I don't have enough time for FPS, but I like being social with other gamers. I don't believe that lack of the former means I should lack the later.

So: here's what you get when you have the J-Cat in your clan.

A) not much drama... some... cause I believe in big issues and cause i'm passionate. But it's not  clan stuff.

B) not many rules. I get it. Real life happens. I've gone form being a married chick to a Stay at Home Mom to a Working Mom while on this site. And soon I will be back on Mat leave. That means that shit has happened in my life. And that means that gaming and the energy it takes to be a FPS gamer has waxed and waned. You will never hear me complain about people coming and going. We evolve. We are adults with responsabilities. Kindergarteners need rules around games. Adults don't .

C) Someone who is curious about the bigger issues of gaming. And who reads about gaming voraciously. I have opinions and I like to share. BUt I also listen and I'm willing to change my opinions.

D) someone who sucks big time. Need to up your K/D Ratio? You want me. If I actually play your game.

E) My Mom says I'm cool

So: What do I get out of being a clan whore? I have met and gamed with and talked with so many different people. And I am richer for it. I would give you all a ribbon and a custom if I could.
